Saturday afternoon we went to a pumpkin patch with Paxton and his mommy, Ashley! We had a lot of fun! It ended up being quite a bit warmer than any of us thought it was though (it was 90 degrees), so we were burning up! You can see in the pictures that Emma's cheeks were bright red!
The babies at the entrance of the pumpkin patch. Everyone got a free tiny pumpkin with their entrance fee (Emma has one in both hands) :)
She was very proud of her pumpkins :)
They had a Texas Tech "Guns Up" sign! But Emma wasn't very interested in posing with it...there was too much stuff too look at!

They had lots of bales of hay painted like Jack-O'-Lanterns!

Paxton found a pumpkin he liked :)

In between the pumpkin patches they had a row of pumpkins. That's where we picked our pumpkins from!
Emma is a fan of dirt.

Apparently we got something on the camera lens & didn't realize it :(

Daddy pulling Emma & our 2 perfect pumpkins to the exit :)
A couple of hours later, we had our Sunday school Halloween party at the Hames' new house! We ate pizza and yummy pumpkin desserts, carved pumpkins, and watched football.
Emma & Jaxson had a lot of fun playing!
Oh Colton...
Playing in the dogs' bed!
Our finished Jack-O'-Lanterns! Ours is on the far left, it's the beginnings of a Minnie Mouse. We still need to buy a couple of smaller pumpkins to stick on for Minnie's ears, & add a bow :P
Sunday night we went to the Pumpkin Trail at the Lubbock Arboretum! It was a lot of fun. There were over 2,700 Jack-O'-Lanterns to look at!
The trail was dirt, and there were a ton of people there, so there was dust flying in the air from all the people walking on the trail. It messed up a lot of our pictures because it kept getting on our camera lens!
The Wizard of Oz section was so neat!
The tornado
Jack-O'-Lanterns as far as we could see!
Alice in Wonderland display
The Minion (from the movie "Despicable Me," the yellow one eyed guy wearing blue pants) and the Rainbow fish were my favorites!
Didn't end up with a very good pic...hah.
Emma & Daddy on the trail...again, dang dust messed up the pictures!
Daddy & Emma looking at some Jack-O'-Lanterns on the trail
As you can see from these last couple blog posts, we had a very busy, but very fun filled weekend! :)
