Emma loves playing in mirrors!
Goldfish stuck to her chin :)
We went to Abilene last weekend for a visit. Saturday morning we got to go to a shower for little Miss Lily and we got to meet her for the first time! She is the baby we had a lot of you praying for because she was born with some heart problems, and she is perfectly health now! She is such a sweet girl :)
Emma liked her a lot :)
After the shower we got to go visit with Memaw & Papaw for a while! Memaw had some fun toys for Emma to play with!
After visiting with Memaw & Papaw, we went to Kid's Village and got Emma a new big girl car seat! She is now a forward-facing girl, and she LOVES it, as you can tell from this picture! This was her first ride in her new car seat :)
Emma & the pups watching Pops out the front windows
We went to lunch at Grandma & Grandpa Graggs' on Sunday. Emma had to take a bath over there because MiMi & Pops' plumbing was messed up (that's why she's in her diaper). Emma & Penny were petting Grandma's stuffed puppy :)
Sunday afternoon we took Emma's 1st birthday pictures! It took us 2 hours, and she was exhausted afterwards :)
We went to dinner afterwards at Lytle Land & Cattle, and she perked right up when her lemons arrived :)
Snacking & sleeping on the way back to Lubbock that night
Monday we went to dinner at Chili's (yeahh...we eat there a lot because they always email us coupons for free appetizers & dessert!) Emma wore her Halloween outfit since it was October 1st :)
Kisses from Daddy
Haha!
More lemons! I promise she eats lots of other things besides lemons...she's just the funniest with the lemons!
Look at those teeth! :)
Daddy's first time putting Emma in her new car seat!
Emma discovered my hand held mirror :)
Emma stole mommy's bag of potato chips!
Emma's favorite snack is still her Gerber Cheetos though!
Tuesday evening we took our church directory pictures! That's why we're dressed up :) They actually got a few good ones of Emma, so we bought them, and they should be here in 2-3 weeks, supposedly! :)

Playing outside yesterday
She was excited about going on an afternoon walk!
She gets easily distracted :)
A red car pulled up across the street, and Emma started running for it and yelling "DADA!" Our smart little girl knows her Daddy drives a red SUV, even if she did get the wrong one... :)
Cutie & her baby doll :)
When I finally convinced her to go back inside, she found another bag of chips. Before I could stop her, she shook it up & down until every last chip in that bag was on the living room floor! Then she started crawling around picking them up to eat! What a stinker!
"Mom, you don't really think I'm going to eat that do you?" Hahaha...breakfast this morning.
Here's a little preview from the pictures we took this weekend! I'll post the rest on her birthday :)
This coming Saturday morning (October 6th) Parker, Mindy, Colton, Emma, & I will be participating in Susan G. Komen's Race for the Cure here in Lubbock in memory of Becky (Colton's mom)! It's a 5k race to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help find a cure for breast cancer. The high on Saturday is only supposed to be 50 degrees, and the race festivities start about 7:30 that morning, so we are going to freeze! You can show your support by donating here if you want to (just click on the word "here" and it should take you to our page). We are only one donation away from reaching our goal! A big thanks to those of you that have already donated! Of course there will be pictures of the race next week on the blog :)
Have a great week!
