This past weekend we went to Abilene for a visit! Saturday we hosted a baby shower for my cousin, Whitney, went to Boo at the Zoo, and then a dinner party with all of the family that was in town.

We had to wait in a long line that circled through the zoo to look at all the animals & get candy. Emma got a little impatient & kept trying to go around the line :)

After having a blast at Boo at the Zoo, we went to a dinner party with all of my Dad's family for the rest of the night. We had a lot of fun catching up with everyone! Then Sunday we slept in, and met Colton's family for lunch at Cotton Patch. After lunch we let Emma take a nap, and then took her trick-or-treating!

Boy was she in a goofy mood after we left! We stopped off to get gas since we were about to head back to lubbock, and she was being so silly while I sat in the car with her!
When we got back to MiMi & Pops' house to pack up our stuff, we decided we'd better trick-or-treat Pops as well!
He got caught with no candy, so he gave Emma dollar bills!
She was pretty pleased :) She spent her $4 on a baby doll at Target last night. We were shocked they had a baby doll there that cost less than $4! :P
MiMi got out another birthday present when she got back from getting dinner. It was from Emma's Great Aunt Lisa, Great Uncle Kenny, & cousin Colin!

Emma wanted MiMi to read her the book, of course.
We had such a fun weekend in Abilene visiting with family we hadn't seen in a while, and celebrating Halloween a bit early! I will have to post another blog later this week with pictures from Halloween tomorrow :) We hope everyone has a great Halloween tomorrow!
