Emma's Dedication 4/22/12

Sorry I didn't post last week! We have been very busy!

So here's all about Emma's dedication!

Emma was just a bit on the sleepy side before church, and she wasn't thrilled with her bow. :)

First we went to a brunch they had for us before the service! They had lots of wonderful food, & a photographer there that took pictures for us, but they still haven't been posted online for us to purchase yet.

There were 22 kids that were dedicated that Sunday, and there wasn't even enough room at the front of the church for all 22 families! We were very squished! Big G did his best to get some pictures of us though!

I guess since there were so many families, they couldn't go through and introduce each baby & talk a bit about them. We were disappointed by that, since at our churches we grew up at in Abilene (First Baptist Abilene & Pioneer Drive) they only dedicate a few babies at a time and make a bigger deal out of it, introducing each family, and the pastor even takes the baby and walks it around to look at its church family. But oh well, it was still special, & we had a lot family come in to help us celebrate! :)

We didn't end up with pictures of everyone :/ But MiMi & Pops, Big G, Grandma & Grandpa Gragg, the Ellis's & Courtney & Rhett, & Grandmommy & Grandaddy came in town for it!

She got a couple of foam books about Noah's Ark & the Creation! They have pieces she can pull out & chew on. She loves them!

Grandmommy & Granddaddy & Uncle Bill got Emma a silver cup! She loved chewing on it as well :)
