We can't believe our beautiful baby girl turned 6 months old on Tuesday (April 17th)!!
Here's what we did that day!
There was some napping...
And giggling...
And drinking apple juice out of her sippy cup like a big girl...
...well, almost :)
Then we went to her 6 month check up at the doctor's office at 3 o'clock! Daddy even got to take off work and come with us!

We also talked to the doctor about her upper respiratory infection that wasn't getting much better (other than the fever being gone), and the fact that she is now congested, and she wasn't last Thursday when we were there. She said it could take up to a couple weeks for her cough to go away and listened to her lungs to make sure they were clear. We also told her that Emma was still messing with her ears quite a bit, so she checked them and said her right ear was getting infected now :( So Emma is now taking her 1st antibiotic, Amoxicillin, twice a day to get rid of her ear infection.
Emma is now 26 1/4 inches long and 16 lbs 7 oz! And, she is now allowed to start eating meats (the liquid baby food kind, of course)! Yummy! ;)
Then we did a bit of shopping. We had to get her accessories to go with her dress for her dedication this weekend :)
After that, we went to dinner at Chili's. She likes sitting in the high chair like a big girl :)
But she was even more excited when she got to sit next to Mommy in the booth! :D
Poor girl was worn out! And she keeps holding her poor little ear :(
Emma had a rough day yesterday (Wednesday 4/18), thanks to the shots on top of the ear infection & upper respiratory infection. She slept most of the day. Today though, she seemed to be feeling much better, and hardly napped at all! Goober!
Modeling her "Gragg University" onesie that Grandma Becky had ordered a few years ago (before Colton & I were even married!). It finally fits, and she is very proud of it! :)
Sleepy baby
Emma enjoyed her dinner last night! She had green beans & sweet potatoes!
I guess Emma slept so much yesterday, she struggled sleeping last night. I finally got her to sleep about 10:00 (an hour & a half past when she usually goes to bed). And then she woke up at 6:00 this morning (she usually gets up about 7:30) ready for the day! She partied hard, and then was already passed out again by 8:00, silly girl!
She insisted on being right with me while I was in the bathroom getting ready this morning

Emma's dedication to the church is this Sunday (4/22)! We have lots of family coming in town for it, and we are all very excited! I know you all can't wait to see the pictures of it next week :)
