We got to go to the South Plains Fair tonight! We had so much fun :) The pictures were just so cute I decided we'd better do another blog post to show them off! ;) And just a reminder, you can always click on any of the photos to make them bigger so you can see them even better!
A huge storm came in about 20-30 minutes after we got there. We ate dinner, and then the wind picked up, & it started raining & thundering so we went into one of the buildings & looked at all of the stuff they had for sale! We even sat & watched a cooking show, got some free cooking knives, & free samples of food! We would have loved to have bought the cooking stuff they used in their demonstrations, but we just don't have a spare $3,000 sitting around to buy the set with! ;)

Watching the cooking show
Emma got a little bored, so Daddy walked around with her for a little while & Mommy stayed & watched the show. They found some friends to play with :)
Here's some of the damage that happened from the storm while we were there
Looking at the bunnies with Daddy
"I like this one!"
We got to see this big boy up close!
And pet him too!
Emma kept barking at the rabbits, I think she thought they were puppies :)
Emma & Mommy looking at the bunnies
Emma was fascinated by the goats because the black one kept making noises!
Mommy looking at the pig, & Emma still looking at the goats :)
Daddy held a duckling & Emma got to pet it! I love this picture! I can't believe it came out so cute, I was holding Emma & taking the picture at the same time!
Emma wanted to walk all by herself. She did NOT want to hold anyone's hand.
Looking at more goats
Talking to the big ducks
Sheep!
Looking at some chickens & a beautiful peacock!
They even had a cute little pony!
A little blurry, but walking by herself again.
Little donkeys
They said this guy was a dwarf bull...he still looked pretty massive to us!
Here's a short video while we were looking at the animals:
Then we walked all around the rides. Emma loved looking at everything!
On our way out we let her play the duck pond game! Emma picked up 3 different rubber duckies that each had a number on the bottom, and those numbers added up to her prize!
One duckie...
Two...
And three!
She got a pink puppy for her prize!
Pretty sunset as we were leaving!
It really turned out to be a great night to go, it was cool from the rain, & there weren't a ton of people there since it had stormed!
