We have had a very busy last month! Emma & I were only at our house in Lubbock 4 days in June! We have been staying at my parents' house in Abilene, at my grandparents' farm outside of Wichita Falls, in Wichita, Kansas for one of my friend's wedding, and at Lake Possum Kingdom for Colton's best friend's wedding! Lots of traveling! We were supposed to finally be heading home today, but now Colton & Emma both have a nasty stomach virus, so I guess we'll be in Abilene at least one more day!
I have so many pictures that I can't possibly post them all, so here's some of our favorites!
Memorial Day weekend in Abilene:

Colton's First Father's Day!!
Saturday evening we met Big G & Parker at Fort Imagination, a playground near the Abilene Zoo. A big storm was coming in though so we only got to stay about half an hour. We had a lot of fun though, & it was nice & cool :)

After going to church at Pioneer Drive Father's Day morning, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Gragg's for lunch. Father's Day was also Emma Claire's 8 month birthday! She is getting so big :)

Emma's 1st Eye Doctor Visit:
Emma has a dark spot on her iris of her right eye, so we took her to the eye doctor to see what the deal was. It turns out it is nothing to worry about, the doctor said it was just a little area of discoloration, like having a freckle on your skin. It does not affect her vision at all. We were very glad to hear this!

MiMi took us swimming at the Country Club nearly every day while we were staying with them. Emma LOVES the pool, she is such a little water baby!

MiMi & Pops bought a zoo membership, so we have been going to the zoo a lot while we were here!

Kansas Trip:
My best friend from middle school, Ashley, got married in Wichita, Kansas, so my parents drove Emma & I up there for it! We had so much fun! Unfortunately Colton couldn't take off work to go with us :(
It was Emma's first time out of state, & she got to visit not one, but two new states!
Emma did so well in the car! It was a long trip for her, poor baby (about 8 hours)! We got her some Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVDs, & she went back & forth between watching those & napping.

We had lunch Saturday at a local place called Spangles. It was pretty good! They also had some fun things to take pictures with :)

Unfortunately my camera got switched to the wrong setting, & I didn't figure out that's what was wrong with it until a few days later... :(

We stopped for lunch at Cracker Barrel in Oklahoma City. Emma grabbed this stuffed puppy & would not let go, so Pops had to buy it for her. She was very excited :)
She also loved the little rocking chairs they had out front. She is very good at rocking herself!
Danny's Wedding!
This past Friday evening was Colton's best friend, Danny's, wedding! Colton was the best man. It was at Lake Possum Kingdom, which was about an hour & a half away from Abilene. It was so beautiful there! We left Emma at home with MiMi & Pops for this trip because she has started teething & can get pretty cranky pretty fast :)

Emma is still pulling up on everything! She can walk as long as she's holding onto something, like the coffee table. She also has started standing up all by herself without holding onto anything just this past week! We have some pictures that I will post in the next blog posting :) We haven't been able to catch her on video yet though!
