Lately

We have been pretty busy lately! Here's some pictures from the past couple of weeks! :)

Big G came to visit us about a week ago (Jan 26th-27th)! We had lots of fun! Emma shopped & played all day Saturday & would not take her nap! Then she fell asleep on Daddy while we were waiting for our table at dinner at Red Lobster that night.

She woke up in time to eat her macaroni & cheese and mashed potatoes though!

Monday we had some leftover quiche for lunch, and Emma was so excited! She loves her momma's quiche :)

She has been playing a lot with her dollhouse! Big G brought it down to our house for us when he came to visit (it wouldn't fit in our car, so he brought it in the back of his truck).

Emma has also discovered that she can open her dresser drawers, and if we accidentally leave her bedroom door open she wanders in there & empties out her drawers! Such a little stinker!

Emma has been riding on her rocking horse, playing with her "Elefun," doing quite a bit of reading, & more playing with her doll house!

She has also been doing some coloring!

And more reading...Brown Bear Brown Bear is her favorite book right now!

She has also been a very big helper around the house lately! Here she is helping Daddy put away the dishes

Emma had slept all night in her bed every night for the month between Thanksgiving & Christmas! We were all so excited! But, after we got back from our Christmas travels, she kept waking up sometime between 12:00am & 2:00am & screaming until we moved her to our bed. Well, we are please to report that last night (Sunday Feb. 3) was her 5th night in a row to sleep in her own bed all night again! This picture was after the first night she slept all night in her bed (last Thursday morning), and she was so proud and in such a good mood!

Emma has also decided she loves sweeping! In fact, she loves it so much, she screamed every time we took the broom & dust pan away from her so we could get the floors swept! I think we are going to have to get her her own broom & dustpan that are just her size :)

Last night we had a Super Bowl party at our house! Uncle Jared, Aunt Hollie, Uncle Parker, & Mindy came over & watched the game with us. We also had a lot of good food! :)

I think we have finally resolved our focus problems with our camera (I finally found where we something set wrong)! Yay!! Emma was helping me test it out this morning :) Such a cute little face!
