Christmas in Abilene

We got to MiMi & Pops' house in Abilene on Sunday, December 23rd. 

After finishing up some shopping & then cooking all day on Christmas Eve, we got to open presents at MiMi & Pops' house! :)

Emma got her very own make up & mirror set from Mommy & Daddy!

Uncle Will gave her a stroller for her baby dolls!

MiMi & Pops' gave Emma a cradle for her new baby doll

And a high chair for her also!

After that, we went to the Christmas Eve service at Pioneer Drive with the Gragg side of the family. Then we went over to Grandma & Grandpa Gragg's house for Christmas Eve dinner & present opening!

Everyone was very excited to see the princess :)

Then it was time to get serious about some present opening!

And the Ellis's also gave her a fun turtle that lights up and helps you read!

The Ellis's also gave her a panda hat! Emma gave it a big hug, like it was a stuffed animal :)

And they gave her a crazy headband! She wore it on New Year's Eve :)

Big G had t-shirt quilts made for his 3 boys! Grandma Becky had saved their t-shirts as they grew up and left instructions for Big G to have them be made into quilts. The boys were very surprised & excited! :)

Emma was confused about why she didn't get to hang onto her money from Grandma & Grandpa Gragg :)

Christmas morning!

A bit sleepy still, and not too sure what was going on!

But she was excited about her new doll house Santa brought her!

Emma playing with her new doll house! It's actually a shopping center; it has a candy shop, a pizza parlor, a toy store, a clothing store, a hair salon, an escalator, and an elevator!

We went back over to Grandma & Grandpa Gragg's for Christmas Day lunch. Emma went around to everyone begging for food! :)

Uncle Jared & cousin Cody brought their guitars & played & sang songs together! Emma likes guitars!

Emma passed out from all the excitement, and took a nice long afternoon nap :)

That evening we went up to the hospital to visit Papaw and have a little Christmas party with him & Memaw! Papaw had been in the hospital for over a week at this point due to lung problems. I think he was excited to see all of us, and even had on his Santa hat for the occasion! :)

She LOVES this book! We read it all the time; it's her new favorite! :)

Memaw got an iPhone for Christmas! Pops was showing her how to use it, and Emma was helping too! Gotta love that tongue sticking out! :)

Whitney and her family sent Papaw a mug that said "We love you Papaw" on one side, and "There ain't nobody like my Papaw" on the other! He really like it! It was a neat gift :)

The day after Christmas we went over to Big G's house to open presents!

Emma is a big fan of the glittery light up bouncy ball she got in her stocking :)

Emma also got a "fur-real" puppy in her stocking! When you pet it's back, it wags its tail and moves its head! She loves that puppy :)

Books from Uncle Jared & Aunt Hollie!

Emma loves these books because they are just her size!

Emma was also a huge fan of the yogurt drops that were in her stocking! She finished off both bags of them in just a few days :)

She got "All Dogs go to Heaven" from Big G! Such a great movie!

Uncle Parker & Mindy got Emma a very special book! It's called "Rock a Bye Baby," and they recorded themselves reading it to her! She loves listening to that book! So special :)

Emma got lots of other presents too, but there were just too many pictures to add them all on here! Plus, our camera was still very new, and the photographer was having a bit of trouble working it, and a lot of the pictures came out a bit blurry :)

Thank you everyone for all of our presents! We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! :)
