Emma had a check up just before Valentine's Day. She is doing great, and is in the 60% on everything (the doctor said she is very proportionate :P ). She had to get some shots, which wasn't fun, but she did great! After the nurse gave her the shots, Emma wanted down & started talking that nurses ear off (we think she was "telling her off") haha!

The next morning it turned into a dog stroller...poor Sophie! But she was a good sport about it :)
We went to Best Buy to get Daddy a new cell phone, and they had these giant balloons. Emma was obsessed with them, and stayed right next to them the whole time we were in the store.

Emma wasn't feeling so great from teething (she had her top two molars coming in at the same time). Daddy sent me the first pic of the two of them while I was at work to show how pathetic they looked. Then Emma perked right up when I got home, so we took our own picture :)
Emma heard that Mommy & Daddy were about to leave for a weekend trip to Ruidoso, so she decided she would try to stow away so she could come too! Such a silly girl :)
MiMi came to Lubbock & stayed with Emma for the weekend while we were gone.
We had a lot of fun in Ruidoso! We aren't all that fond of skiing, so we just went to shop and hang out. We rode gokarts, went horseback riding, shopping, & hung out at the Inn of the Mountain Gods casino. And there was snow! :)
We came back from Ruidoso on Sunday evening, & brought the snow with us! We woke up Monday morning to an all out blizzard! Emma loved looking out the windows at the snow, and kept yelling "no!" (her word for snow since she can't say her s sound yet). We spent the day drinking hot chocolate and watching the "no" :)
When we finally decided to take Emma out to see the snow the next evening, she didn't want anything to do with it! She wouldn't touch it, or step in it! It was so funny, and surprising since she loved looking at it out the windows!
The next weekend the Ellis/Saunders family came to Lubbock for a visit! We hung out with them a lot of they day Saturday, going out to eat & to the pie bar (top left pic)! The next morning Emma wore her new strawberry outfit to church (Grandmommy & Granddaddy had sent it to her for Valentine's Day)! She looked so cute :) That afternoon after a nap, we went to the park to play (bottom left pic).
Emma has become such a big helper around the house. She LOVES to clean (we have no idea where she got that from)! Here she is helping Mommy do the dishes one morning.

One night we had Taco Bueno for dinner (one of Mommy's favorites), and Emma got to try it! She had a soft taco, and insisted on having her own "bowl" of queso (we poured some in the queso lid for her). She loves dipping her food in sauces! Bueno was definitely a big hit :)

Daddy had to work late a lot last week, so Thursday night Mommy & Emma decided to make some Easter rice krispies to take to the farm with us that weekend! Emma was more than willing to be the taste tester :)

Everyone but us had to go home Saturday afternoon, so we decided it would be a good time to go to church with Grandmommy & Granddaddy since there were so few of us to get ready (6 total instead of the usual 12). Emma was not too sure of their nursery, but she survived :) And of course we all wore green, since it was Saint Patrick's Day!

Emma was so worn out from the weekend, she had fallen asleep before we even made it into Wichita Falls! A couple of hours later she woke up & played in an old pair of Mommy's sunglasses :)
